What are the results of acupuncture?
Almost all of my clients experience an immediate improvement of their general well-being and energy level. A vast number of my clients show strong progress during my treatments. In recent years there has been extensive research into the results of acupuncture on various complaints, which has been demonstrated that it has a demonstrably positive effect for 80% of the people who undergo acupuncture treatments:
- For 45% of the clients, the complaint has been completely resolved.
- In 35% of the clients, the number of complaints fell sharply.
- The other patients experience good improvement and return periodically for treatment.
How do I feel about the little needles?
You don’t feel much of the needle pricks. The needles are very thin and are only applied to the surface of your skin. What is good to know is that there is still a difference between Chinese and Japanese acupuncture. In Japanese acupuncture, the needles are applied even less deeply than in Chinese acupuncture. In general, my clients say that acupuncture is not that bad and that it doesn’t hurt at all.
How do I make an appointment with you?

Do I need a referral from my family doctor?
No, that is not necessary. You can call me for an appointment or fill in the contact form.
What should I take into account if I come for treatment?
Make sure you have at least eaten. Acupuncture on an empty stomach is therefore not recommended. Leave home on time and arrive relaxed. Also, try to wear loose-fitting trousers or a skirt. Depending on the complaint, points on the back will also be treated.
How do I know if I am with a great acupuncturist?
An acupuncturist must be a member of a professional association, such as the Zhong, which imposes quality requirements on all its members.
